Derek has contributed to many celebrated records including GloRilla & Megan Thee Stallion’s single 'Wanna Be,' Karol G’s single '+57,' and Yandel & Feid’s album 'MANIFESTING 20-05,' He continues to play a major role in hip-hop, R&B, alternative, and Latin music, showcasing his versatility across a range of genres.
In 2022, Derek joined Record Plant Recording Studios in Hollywood, grinding through every opportunity and rising to work in high-profile sessions. He played an integral part in shaping projects for some of the biggest names in music, including Megan Thee Stallion’s album 'MEGAN,' which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rap Albums chart; The Stylistics’ album 'Falling In Love With My Girl'; and Blxst & Feid’s 'Rewind,' which earned an RIAA Latin Platinum certification.
Furthermore, he has had the opportunity to work with renowned artists including Busta Rhymes, J Balvin, Lil Yachty, Don Toliver, Wiz Khalifa, Brody Brown, Young Nudy, Shaboozey, Central Cee, T-Shyne, Trippie Redd, and The Chainsmokers, building a reputation not only as a great engineer but also as a valued collaborator and problem solver.

His dedication to empowering talent is reflected in projects like Lily Rayne’s 'SIRENS' — an album he mixed, mastered, and executive produced, which was ultimately released in partnership with Sony Music/Human Re-Sources.
